Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd’s Dazed And Blazed Tour Review

Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd’s Dazed and Blazed tour has been one of the summer’s biggest tours for fans of rap to look forward to and it was one LIT night. When you mix in together Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd, and a little bit of shared love for marijuana, you have the ingredients for a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience that’ll exceed your expectations of live shows.

We recently got a chance to attend the Dazed And Blazed Tour in Dallas, TX and the two marquee hip-hop acts didn’t fail to impress. From “Black and Yellow” to “Black Beatles,” the hits were on full display throughout the evening, giving a packed lawn the opportunity to rage all through out the night.

Fresh off the release of their latest project SR3MM, Rae Sremmurd brought the heat as they always do from start to finish, as the duo ripped through tracks new and old. Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee made sure to promote their latest album, which is packed full of bangers. From “CLOSE” to “Powerglide,” the SR3MM selections fit quite nicely alongside older hits like “Black Beatles,” “No Type,” and “Swang.” Overall, the duo’s set felt like a giant, stadium-sized party, whereas, Wiz’s set was a little bit more of a carefully planned production.

Like Rae Sremmurd, Wiz Khalifa had a new album of his own to promote in Rolling Papers 2. The sequel to Wiz’s major-label debut, Rolling Papers 2 features many songs including “Gin & Drugs,” “Real Rich,” and “Something New.” Wiz also performed the Rolling Papers 2 song “Hopeless Romantic” with assistance from Swae Lee.

Khalifa made sure to please his day one fans as well, even performing a few songs with fellow Taylor Gang companion Chevy Woods. He also paid tribute to his departed Pittsburgh pal Jimmy Wopo, who passed away in June. Wiz was able showcase his versatility in Dallas giving fans a heartfelt performance full of memorable moments.
